With the development of technology, injection molding technology has been applied in many fields, which must be known by researchers. But things have two sides, which does not mean that they have no defects. The key is that after meeting those defects, do you know how to solve them? Don't worry. In the following content, we take the injection molding parts for automobile as an example to summarize the common defects and solutions of this technology.
Defect 1: under note
Under injection is a phenomenon that mold cavity can not be completely filled, and its main reason is stagnant flow. The main reason for this is that there will be a thin structure near the gate. During the injection process, the melt will encounter greater resistance when passing through the position. If the melt does not flow at this position and there is no heat supplement, it has solidified, so it will cause under injection.
Defect 2: spray pattern appears
A spout pattern is a serpentine trail that bends in the direction of flow from the gate. After this happens, we can put a resistance pin in front of the gate to prevent the material flow from spraying, and at the same time, we should expand the gate cross-section.
Defect 3: crown
When the ejector pin ejects the part, due to the insufficient cooling and solidification of the part and the large demoulding force, the part is jacked at the top of the ejector pin, which is higher than the normal surface of the part. In this case, the cooling time can be prolonged by reducing the ejection speed and mold temperature.
In the process of automobile injection molding parts, the main problems are the above three kinds. For each case, we have listed solutions, hoping to help you.
