When the engine is running, the ignition line often has tens of thousands of volts of high-voltage pulse current. Because it works in a high temperature, dusty and vibration environment for a long time, it will inevitably be aged or even damaged. Therefore, it is the same as the spark plug, which needs to be replaced frequently. If the ignition coil is not used properly, it will cause damage to the ignition coil. Therefore, attention should be paid to the following points: prevent the ignition coil from being heated or damped; do not turn on the ignition switch when the engine is not running; check, clean and fasten the circuit connector frequently to avoid short circuit or grounding; control the engine performance to prevent high voltage; do not "hang fire" for a long time on the spark plug; on the ignition coil Only use cloth to dry, never bake with fire, otherwise the ignition coil will be damaged.

Brake disc

The brake disc and the brake shoe are a pair of friction pairs. If the brake shoe is worn, the brake disc will also wear to a certain extent. This principle is very simple. However, many people only pay attention to the replacement of shoes when maintaining the vehicle, but often neglect to replace the brake disc. The result of excessive wear of brake disc is very serious. Generally speaking, the brake disc should be replaced after the brake shoe is replaced 2-3 times. Don't worry about the hundreds of dollars. After all, human life is priceless.

Generator bearing

Now many repairmen are jokingly called "stevedores", which means that they can only change parts but not repair them. In fact, as long as some parts are maintained according to regulations, their service life can be greatly extended, and the generator is one of them. Generally speaking, when the vehicle runs for 60000-80000 km, the generator should be overhauled. In addition, the bearings of water pump, power steering pump and air conditioning compressor should also be inspected regularly.

Electrical connector

In addition to a small number of important electrical connectors using gold contacts, most of the other joints are made of copper zinc alloy. Under normal conditions, its reliability is guaranteed. However, if the vehicle is operated in high temperature, high humidity and bumpy environment for a long time, these joints may have loose, rusty, poor contact and other faults, and some strange electrical faults also occur Most of them come from this. Therefore, in the routine maintenance, should focus on the inspection of the car computer, sensor, fuel injector and other parts of the connector

Battery

The battery is the key in the electrical system. In the modern automobile, a lot of electrical devices are used. The abnormal operation of the battery will affect the performance of many devices. For example, in an automatic transmission vehicle, if the battery is not normal, the car will not start. Therefore, a stable power supply must always be available.

When checking the battery liquid level, it is considered appropriate if the liquid level is between the upper and lower two scribed lines. At the same time, the liquid level difference of each tank should be checked. If the liquid level is insufficient, screw off the cover on the battery and pour distilled water to make up the liquid level.

Check the terminal of the battery and use an iron brush to remove the dirt on the terminal. If the wiring clamp is seriously soiled, it can be rubbed along the inner wall with sandpaper to remove the dirt.

Brake pads

Usually, we will judge whether the brake shoe should be replaced based on whether the brake warning light on the instrument panel is on, but this is the final bottom line. If we do not change it until then, it is quite dangerous.

To remind you, although all vehicles have this warning system, some of them directly sense the thickness of the brake shoes, and some of them only light up when the brake shoes are completely worn out and the brake fluid drops extremely. If it is the latter, when the warning light is on, the metal base of the brake pad and the brake disc are already in the state of iron grinding. At this time, bright iron chips will be seen near the rim of the tire. Therefore, every time you enter the factory for maintenance, you should check whether the brake pads can be used, and replace the brake pads close to the bottom of the service life in advance, instead of just believing in the warning lights.
