1、 Stop and start

Therefore, do not drive or blow the accelerator immediately after starting in winter, because the oil is transported to all parts through the oil pump. If you drive and accelerate without good lubrication, it will certainly cause serious damage to the parts of the vehicle.

2、 Wiper

If you go out in the morning and find that the wiper is stuck on the windshield by snow water, do not wash it directly with hot water, which will easily cause the window to burst and the wiper to deform due to temperature change. The correct way should be to turn on the air conditioner to hot air, the blowing mode is the front windshield, and wait for the wiper to turn on naturally.

3、 Cooling system

In winter, regularly check whether the water tank, water pump and belt, water pipe, make-up water tank and other parts work normally. If there is any damage or failure, repair or replace it in time. Otherwise, a bucket of antifreeze may be wasted for a small water pipe. In particular, the water temperature of some cars is too high in summer, so the maintenance personnel will remove the thermostat. Although it can solve the problem in summer, it will be reversed in winter.

4、 Warm air

The warm air that has been placed for a summer often breaks down. First try to see if there is hot air, if the fan is running abnormally, and if the air duct is smooth. Sometimes the problem is that the antifreeze in the heating water pipe does not flow for a long time, and the circulating pipeline is blocked by condensation. Although it does not affect the driving, the maintenance is very troublesome.

5、 Antifreeze

Check whether there is liquid shortage and deterioration, and timely supplement or replace if necessary. Antifreeze seems like a small thing, but it has a great impact on the car. It can block the pipeline in light, and corrode and damage the cylinder block. Therefore, careful selection and careful use of antifreeze, one is not to mix, the other is not to use counterfeit products. In addition, generally speaking, the antifreeze should be changed every two years. If the antifreeze has not been replaced for two years or water has been added to the vehicle itself, the owner will have to go to the store for freezing point test. If it fails to meet the standard, it should be replaced immediately. Clean the cooling system with clean water before replacement.

6、 Oil

After the heavy snow, the temperature drops suddenly, we must pay attention to whether the oil viscosity of the car meets the standard. Since the viscosity of the oil will increase after the temperature drops sharply, it may be greatly affected during cold start. It is not easy to start and the engine is difficult to rotate. Therefore, it is recommended that the owner change the oil with lower viscosity. Generally, the oil can be carried to about - 25 ℃ in four seasons. Therefore, when the temperature continues to decrease, a higher level of oil should be replaced.

7、 Windshield glass

Keeping the windshield clear is the basic condition for safe driving. The wiper should be cleaned regularly in winter, and the windshield can be wiped clean in snowy days. If possible, change the antifreeze windshield glass to avoid freezing in winter. In addition, glass water can add some windshield deicing agent. When the windshield freezes, spray on the glass water, and the ice will melt. Unlike ordinary glass water, the more difficult it is to spray when it freezes. Glass water should be of high quality. Since the usage of glass water after snow will be relatively large, it is recommended that car owners add some high-quality glass water to prevent freezing, because the nozzle aperture is relatively small, which may cause blockage. Once the glass water spray nozzle is blocked, the owner should not be nervous. You can check the freezing point in the store or put the vehicle in the warm garage.

8、 Body

After snow road sprinkling salt water, the saltwater splashing on the car body has great harm to the car paint. Before winter, add a layer of protective film to your car. The paint coating or mirror glaze containing Teflon polymer can resist the corrosion of acid, rain, snow and salt water. Be prepared in advance, you will not be afraid to damage the paint when you travel in snow.

9、 Chassis

In winter, the automobile chassis always deals with rain and snow directly, so it is easy to rust. Speeding tires can throw salty snow water onto the chassis of the car. After snow and fine weather, the chassis of the car began to rust. So, before winter, you take the time to build a chassis armor.

10、 Battery

The battery is most afraid of low temperature. The capacitance of the battery in low temperature environment is much lower than that in normal temperature. Therefore, before the cold season comes, we should supplement the electrolyte of battery and adjust the proportion of electrolyte. At the same time, the terminals of the battery should be cleaned and protected with special grease to ensure reliable starting and prolong the service life of the battery. If the vehicle is not used for several weeks in the open air or cold storage, the battery should be removed and stored in a relatively warm room to prevent the battery from icing damage.

11、 Tires

In winter, the tire pressure will be relatively low, and the tire friction coefficient will not be too high. Low external temperature, low tire pressure and severe soft tire can accelerate aging. In winter, the inclusions in tire tread should be cleaned frequently, and the tires which have been repaired more than once should be avoided as far as possible, and the tires with larger wear and different brands and different patterns should be replaced. In order to ensure the safety and reduce the wear, the position of the tire should be changed regularly.

12、 Car washing

The car body will be very dirty after heavy snow. It is recommended that car owners go to the professional car wash for cleaning, especially in winter in the north. If the vehicle is not cleaned in time after snow, the chemicals in the deicing agent will cause corrosion to the car body.
